Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on her X (formerly Twitter) account on February 17 and 18, 2026, addressing political strategy and party dynamics as the midterm elections and State of the Union approach.

In a post dated February 17, Greene commented on political campaign tactics and donor influence: “Yes and I warned them. You can’t campaign throwing America First red meat to the masses, who are broke and been force fed psyop after psyop and the government has enslaved in $40 trillion in debt then turn around and deliver for your billionaire donors and warmongering neocons.”

Later that day, she reflected on her previous warnings regarding Laura Loomer’s involvement with former President Trump’s team: “I have to admit I was wrong when I warned Trump and his senior staff to stay away from Laura Loomer. Her divisiveness, loyalty tests temper tantrums, Israel First agenda, and her manufactured bullshit she calls loomered have all been great for the party and the President! Laura”

On February 18, Greene addressed ongoing discussions among Republican leaders ahead of key national events: “The WH and Republicans are meeting trying to figure out messaging going into midterms and SOTU next week. If you had put America FIRST from the start, instead of your rich donor class and foreign policy, you wouldn’t have to strategize on how to gaslight Americans.”

Greene has held her congressional seat since succeeding Tom Graves in 2021. She has won several general elections by wide margins: defeating Shawn Harris in 2024 with approximately 64% of the vote; Marcus Flowers in 2022 with about 66%; and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with nearly 75%. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974, Greene is currently a resident of Rome.
