Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Congress member representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, has expressed her views on a variety of topics through her social media posts.

On April 9, 2025, Greene criticized the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for allegedly failing U.S. citizens repeatedly. She listed several items including COVID vaccines, baby formula, nicotine products, raw milk, fentanyl, and hemp, suggesting the FDA’s actions have led to a loss of trust among Americans. Greene mentioned that the agency has impeded consumer freedom in goods that she claims have historically supported humans. “COVID Vaccines. […] complete loss of trust from Americans.”

Later that day, Greene announced progress on her Gulf of America Act, which aims to make permanent a former executive order by President Trump. The bill successfully passed through the Natural Resources Committee, a step Greene highlighted as crucial for cementing Trump’s policies. She expressed enthusiasm about the bill’s advancement to the House floor. “HUGE NEWS! […] Next stop: The House Floor!”

On April 10, Greene urged House Republicans to unify and pass the Senate budget resolution. She emphasized the resolution as a necessary step towards the process of reconciliation, which she described as significantly impactful legislation. According to Greene, while the resolution is not a critical battle, it opens the door for reconciliation efforts. “House Republicans MUST stick together […] it’s not the hill to die on.”

Greene, 48, was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, and currently resides in Rome. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia in 1996.
