Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, recently shared her perspectives on various political matters through a series of tweets.

On May 13, 2025, Greene criticized Rep. Shri Thanedar in a tweet for allegedly mistreating animals and accused him of attempting to force an impeachment vote on President Trump. She stated, “Rep. Shri Thanedar, who abused beagles and abandoned them to die when his testing lab shut down, is going to force an impeachment vote on President Trump.” She further commented on the Democratic Party’s leadership under Thanedar.

Later that day, Greene addressed issues within the House GOP concerning legislative actions related to President Trump’s policies. She remarked that despite Americans giving them a majority in November, the House GOP has not enacted certain measures such as making DOGE cuts permanent or passing “the big beautiful bill.” Her tweet expressed public sentiment by stating “Getting ratioed in comments is how Americans feel.”

In another tweet from May 13, 2025, Greene criticized journalist Jake Tapper for his coverage of Joe Biden’s presidency. She accused Tapper and other Democrats of concealing Biden’s alleged mental decline during his term and claimed they are now profiting from it. Her post asserted “Everyone knew Biden wasn’t fit to be president.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996.
