Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th District since 2021, has recently shared her views on social media regarding various political figures and policies. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974, Greene graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a BBA and currently resides in Rome.
On May 14, 2025, Greene addressed changes to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), asserting that “CISA was weaponized by the Biden admin to silence Americans who opposed their America Last agenda.” She noted that under President Trump and Secretary Noem, CISA is being restored to its intended mission of strengthening national security rather than censoring citizens.
In another post on the same day, Greene criticized Mike Lawler’s political alignment by stating that “Mike Lawler just proved in numbers he’s a Republican In Name Only (RINO) or maybe even a Democrat.” She further commented on his opposition to President Trump’s legislative proposal, referring to it as “President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill.”
Later that evening, Greene mentioned her confrontations with Democrats. She specifically targeted Mike Lawler for allegedly undermining Trump’s agenda and Ilhan Omar for personal reasons. Greene remarked: “Busy day fighting Democrats. First Mike Lawler who is trying to destroy Trump’s agenda and now illegal alien Ilhan Omar of Somalia.” Additionally, she made controversial comments about Omar’s personal life.
Marjorie Taylor Greene has been an active political figure since succeeding Tom Graves in Congress. Her recent statements continue to reflect her strong support for former President Trump and criticism of opposing political figures.
