Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a series of tweets on August 8, 2025, expressing criticism of AIPAC, U.S. foreign aid, and American economic policy regarding Israel.

In her first post at 11:37 a.m. UTC, Greene addressed a wide range of grievances: “Good morning to everyone who is fed up with AIPAC, foreign aid and funding foreign wars, being enslaved in $37 trillion in debt, our dollar being weak, high cost of living, high cost of housing, property taxes, and H1B visas stealing American jobs.”

Later that day at 12:42 p.m. UTC, she commented on the military capabilities of Israel and criticized AIPAC’s response to her statements: “Nuclear-armed Israel is not hurting, and they’ve already proven that they are more than capable of not only defending themselves, but annihilating their enemies to the point of genocide.

The reason why AIPAC is attacking me is because I dared to tell the truth.

We’re $37″

At 2:23 p.m. UTC the same day, Greene questioned current U.S. economic policy toward Israel and voiced support for Secretary Bessent while calling for congressional action: “What is happening???

America’s economic power and success should not be used as a blunt force weapon against other countries on behalf of Israel’s economy.

And I’m a big supporter of Secretary Bessent as he is working hard to level the playing field for AMERICA, but Congress”

Greene has held her congressional seat since 2020. She won re-election in both 2022 and 2024 by significant margins over her opponents Marcus Flowers and Shawn Harris respectively.
