Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, has recently shared her views on various national issues through a series of tweets. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently residing in Rome, Greene graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in 1996.

On May 8, 2025, Greene expressed her support for President Trump’s latest trade deal. She stated “Another incredible trade deal just secured by President Trump! The Golden Age of America is here!! “.

Later that day, she voiced her agreement with efforts to defund Planned Parenthood and advocated for her proposed legislation. In her tweet at 23:11 UTC, she declared “I wholeheartedly AGREE! We must defund Planned Parenthood and pass my bill Protect Children’s Innocence Act to criminalize sex changes, hormones, and puberty blockers on minors!”.

Continuing this theme into the next day at 00:46 UTC on May 9, Greene reiterated her stance against funding organizations like Planned Parenthood. She questioned the purpose of holding a Republican majority if such funding continues by stating “Well I will not be voting for any bill that funds any abortion mill like Planned Parenthood… If Republicans can’t defund abortion providers then what is the point of having the majority?? And why call yourself a Republican??? Republicans are the party of life so I was told.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene has been serving as a U.S. Congresswoman since replacing Tom Graves in 2021.
