Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative from Georgia who secured re-election victories in 2020, 2022, and 2024, shared several updates on her social media account between August 14 and August 15, 2025. The posts addressed local constituent services, international relations involving Israel and Ukraine, and recent political developments.
On August 14, Greene highlighted her engagement with the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission (NWGRC), stating “Great to catch up with Boyd! The NWGRC helps constituents with a vast array of needs. I’m glad to support them in any way I can. Cost of living is hurting our most vulnerable citizens, and that needs to change.”
Later that evening, she commented on remarks made by Senator Lindsey Graham regarding Israel’s military capabilities: “Senator Graham confidently says the quiet part out loud, ‘If Israel wanted to commit genocide they could. They have the capacity to do that.’ That is quite a statement and is an acknowledgment that nuclear armed Israel is more than capable of defending themselves, by themselves,” posted Greene.
In another post dated August 15, Greene discussed ongoing peace efforts concerning the war in Ukraine: “On the eve of the historic peace talks between President Trump and President Putin, Zelensky does this. Zelensky doesn’t want peace and obviously is trying to sabotage President Trump’s heroic efforts to end the war in Ukraine. I pray peace prevails!”
Marjorie Taylor Greene has represented Georgia’s congressional district since winning her first election in 2020 against Kevin Van Ausdal with nearly three-quarters of the vote. She maintained strong electoral performances in subsequent elections—defeating Marcus Flowers in 2022 with almost two-thirds of votes cast and Shawn Harris in 2024 by a similar margin.
