Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, has shared her views on recent developments and political issues through a series of tweets. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia, in 1974, Greene is an alumna of the University of Georgia with a BBA degree and resides in Rome.
On May 5, 2025, Greene expressed satisfaction over the closure of a laboratory associated with Dr. Anthony Fauci, which she described as “evil.” She stated that “Mr. Fauci’s evil lab has FINALLY been shut down.” She highlighted the relief felt by beagles and dog owners across America due to this closure and recounted meeting Uno, a beagle rescued from what she termed as abuse.
Later that day, Greene voiced her concerns about the performance of Republican members in Congress. In her tweet at 15:50 UTC, she remarked that “Republicans in Congress are not delivering on the mandate given to them by the American people!” She criticized establishment Republicans for their perceived reluctance to act on promises made to voters.
In another post at 18:25 UTC, Greene articulated her stance on foreign aid and military involvement abroad. She tweeted her support for President Trump but opposed American financial assistance aimed at Ukraine’s security and reconstruction efforts. As she put it: “I do NOT support American tax dollars going towards ‘ensuring the security, prosperity, and reconstruction of Ukraine’.” She reiterated her campaign focus on ending foreign wars.
Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to represent Georgia’s interests in Congress while maintaining active communication with her constituents through social media platforms.
