Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district, has recently shared a series of statements on social media addressing issues related to drug trafficking and border security. Greene, who succeeded Tom Graves in 2021, continues to voice her support for former President Donald J. Trump and his policies.

On May 15, 2025, Greene commented on the death of George Floyd, stating that he “died from a drug overdose” and was “one of the hundreds of thousands of Americans killed by fentanyl that is trafficked across our border by cartels.” She criticized Jasmine Crockett for allegedly prioritizing cartel protection over American lives lost to drugs like fentanyl. “George Floyd died from a drug overdose.”

Later that day, Greene announced new data regarding border security: “Illegal crossings are down 93%, all thanks to President Trump’s strong leadership.” She declared that “Biden’s open border disaster is over,” attributing the reduction in illegal crossings to Trump’s policies. ” BREAKING: New border numbers are in!”

In another tweet posted on May 15, Greene expressed her unwavering support for Donald J. Trump by stating succinctly: “This is the fundamental reason I support President Donald J Trump.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996.
