U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, representing Georgia’s 14th District, recently shared a series of statements on social media, expressing her views on various issues. Having served in Congress since 2021, Greene has been a vocal figure in political discourse and remains active in engaging with her audience on social platforms.

On May 2, 2025, Marjorie Taylor Greene commented on efforts by Democrats with respect to immigration matters, particularly mentioning Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a member of the MS-13 gang. Greene stated, “This is who Democrats are fighting for – Kilmar Abrego Garcia, MS-13.” She accused Democrats of supporting cartel activities, asserting, “Democrats are the best business partners the Cartels have ever had.”

In a separate statement, also on May 2, 2025, Greene announced the defunding of NPR and PBS, adding, “You can hate us on your own dime.”

Later the same day, she praised the dedication of individuals working for the Department of Government Oversight (DOGE). Greene lauded these personnel, stating, “The patriots working for @DOGE to root out waste, fraud, and abuse from the federal government are working until 2 AM 7 days a week.” She described them as heroes, emphasizing their dedication to combating inefficiencies without financial incentives beyond the satisfaction of their work.

Greene, born in Milledgeville, Georgia, in 1974, and currently residing in Rome, has a background in business, having graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Her tenure in politics began in 2021 following the retirement of former representative Tom Graves.
