Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a series of statements on social media expressing concern for U.S. military personnel and their families amid ongoing conflict.
On March 12, 2026, Greene wrote, “Pray for our troops! Pray for peace!! This war should not be happening.”
Two days later, she questioned the status of U.S. forces and called for greater transparency from the administration: “What is happening to our military??? How many are injured? Have more been killed than we are being told? The administration needs to explain to America what is happening. Pray for our military members and their families. Pray for peace. “ (March 13, 2026).
On March 14, 2026, Greene offered condolences following reported losses: “Devastating I’m so sorry for his wife and children. I’m sorry for all the families that lost their military loved one. Praying for you all. “
Marjorie Taylor Greene has served in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since replacing Tom Graves in 2021. She was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome at age 48.
Greene has consistently secured her seat in recent elections: defeating Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with nearly three-quarters of the vote; Marcus Flowers in 2022 with almost two-thirds; and Shawn Harris in 2024 by a similar margin.
