Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative from Georgia, shared her views on the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza, foreign aid spending, and geoengineering projects in a series of posts on July 27, 2025.

In her first post of the day, Greene addressed recent violence in the Middle East: “I can unequivocally say that what happened to innocent people in Israel on Oct 7th was horrific. Just as I can unequivocally say that what has been happening to innocent people and children in Gaza is horrific. This war and humanitarian crisis must end!” (July 27, 2025).

Later, she commented on congressional spending priorities regarding foreign aid: “I tried to cut funding to Israel, Jordan, and other countries as well as cut needless foreign aid. All my amendments failed because Congress refuses to stop their addiction to America last insane spending.” (July 27, 2025).

In a third post published that evening, Greene raised concerns about scientific experiments aimed at altering Earth’s atmosphere: “There are many extreme and potentially deadly geoengineering projects happening. Here’s one where researches were trying to block out the sun!! We must pass my Clear Skies Act to protect our skies and our sun!! “ (July 27, 2025).

Greene has represented Georgia’s 14th congressional district since her initial election victory over Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with nearly three-quarters of the vote. She retained her seat by defeating Marcus Flowers in 2022 with approximately two-thirds of the vote and won reelection again against Shawn Harris in 2024 by a similar margin.
