Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Congresswoman from Georgia, shared several updates on her X (formerly Twitter) account between July 28 and July 29, 2025. The posts include her support for public statements by others, reflections on a Florida political figure, and the announcement of new legislation related to home sales.
On July 28, Greene expressed approval of recent actions taken by others in the political sphere: “Glad to see this. More need to speak out! https://t.co/hdcxl59ahZ”.
In a post dated July 29, she recounted an early meeting with Randy Fine during his candidacy for Florida’s 6th district: “I remember the first time I met Randy Fine when he was a candidate before he barely won Florida’s deep red 6th district seat, as we were being told he might actually lose the seat because the strong Trump district couldn’t relate to him and didn’t like him. He was telling me that https://t.co/rdGDBNDszl”.
Later on July 29, Greene announced new legislative efforts focused on housing policy: “NO TAX ON HOME SALES! My bill, the No Tax on Home Sales Act, ELIMINATES the federal capital gains tax when you sell your primary home. You earned the equity. You should keep it. Let’s get this done! “.
Marjorie Taylor Greene has maintained her congressional seat since first winning election in 2020. She secured victory over Kevin Van Ausdal with approximately three-quarters of the vote that year. In subsequent elections, she continued her winning streak against Marcus Flowers in 2022 and Shawn Harris in 2024, each time receiving more than sixty percent of votes cast.
