Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative who has secured electoral victories in 2020, 2022, and 2024, published a series of posts on her social media account on August 5 and 6, 2025. In these posts, she discussed the U.S. Census, an incident involving a federal employee in Washington D.C., and her political stance regarding American domestic priorities.

On August 5, Greene alleged manipulation of the most recent national census: “The 2020 Census was manipulated and weaponized by the Biden Administration to protect Democrat power. My Making American Elections Great Again Act orders a new census that counts ONLY U.S. Citizens and ensures accountability for those who break the law. No more fake numbers. No” (August 5, 2025).

Later that day, Greene commented on an incident involving a government employee: “DOGE employee, Edward Coristine, also famously known as ‘Big Balls’ got attacked by a criminal mob of teens in Washington DC as he was defending a woman who was being attacked. Not only does Edward Coristine patriotically work to gut our government of waste, fraud, and abuse, he” (August 5, 2025).

In another post dated August 6, Greene emphasized her political philosophy: “I’m America First. Maybe even America only. I don’t care if you call me an isolationist. America is our home. And it’s falling apart. When my children’s generation are buried in credit card debt, student loan debt, can’t afford rent, can’t afford car insurance…” (August 6, 2025).

Greene has maintained strong support among her constituents over multiple election cycles; she won her seat in Congress by significant margins in three consecutive general elections—defeating Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with nearly three-quarters of the vote; Marcus Flowers in 2022 with almost two-thirds; and Shawn Harris in the most recent contest with over sixty percent.

Her remarks reflect ongoing debates about citizenship data collection methods and domestic policy priorities within the broader context of contemporary American politics.
