Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Congress member representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, has been vocal on various legislative and political issues through her social media presence. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia, in 1974, Greene graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in 1996 and currently resides in Rome.

On May 14, 2025, Rep. Greene urged the House GOP to pass her bill titled the English Language Unity Act. She emphasized that this legislation would codify former President Trump’s executive order to establish English as the official language of the United States. “@HouseGOP should pass my bill, the English Language Unity Act, codifying President Trump’s executive order to make English the official language of the United States.”

Later that day, Greene questioned Democratic priorities regarding law enforcement and immigration policy. In a tweet posted at 16:00 UTC, she asked why Democrats appear focused on defending criminal organizations such as cartels and MS-13 terrorists. “Why are Democrats obsessed with defending cartels and MS-13 terrorists?”

In another tweet shared at 16:47 UTC on May 14, Greene recounted an encounter with an anonymous Democrat who filmed her without consent. She also highlighted efforts by President Trump and House Republicans to protect social programs like Medicaid by ensuring they do not benefit individuals such as criminals or illegal aliens. “Anonymous Democrat with “Nobody” did not want to be on camera while literally filming me.”
