Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia, addressed several issues on her social media account on August 25, 2025, including vaccine mandates, government spending, and foreign aid.

In a post published at 14:30 UTC, Greene wrote: “There needs to be justice for those who suffer from vaccine injuries and deaths from mandated vaccines.

Free Americans should never be forced to vaccinate or have their children vaccinated to attend school, sports, college, or employment.

If vaccines work, then it should be” (August 25, 2025).

Later that day at 15:20 UTC, she commented on federal spending and the national debt: “Government funding deadline is September 30th.

We are all in over $37.2 TRILLION in DEBT with NO END in sight because of Congressional OVER SPENDING.

This is why your life has become UNAFFORDABLE and why inflation soared and really has not come down.

At 16:29 UTC on the same day, Greene criticized USAID and announced legislative action: “USAID is the definition of an America Last agency.

It funnels billions overseas for gender programs and foreign handouts while Americans struggle under $37 TRILLION in national debt.

I introduced a bill to ABOLISH it. No more global giveaways. America ONLY. ” (August 25, 2025).

Greene’s comments come as Congress faces a looming government funding deadline at the end of September and continued debate over federal spending priorities. The U.S. national debt recently surpassed $37 trillion according to official estimates.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has been reelected multiple times since first winning her seat in Congress in 2020. She defeated Kevin Van Ausdal that year with nearly three-quarters of the vote; she was re-elected in subsequent cycles against Marcus Flowers in 2022 and Shawn Harris in 2024 by similarly wide margins.
