U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene posted a series of tweets on August 29 and 30, 2025, addressing issues ranging from transgender identity to school safety and law enforcement responses.

On August 29, Greene wrote, “Transtifa is a deadly threat. To trans oneself is essentially committing suicide. They kill who God created them to be and lie to themselves and the world about who they are. And we should never allow children to undergo this. @FBI please investigate this.”

Later that evening, she commented on an unspecified event with the statement, “Yikes! This is alarming.” on August 30.

In another post on August 30 regarding a school safety incident at the University of Georgia (UGA), Greene stated, “It’s a huge relief that there is no active shooter. however whoever is calling in these sick school shooter hoaxes needs to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. A big thank you to all who responded so quickly and thankfully everyone at UGA is safe!”

Marjorie Taylor Greene has represented Georgia’s 14th congressional district since her first election victory in 2020. She secured reelection in subsequent cycles, defeating Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with nearly three-quarters of the vote, Marcus Flowers in 2022 by over thirty percentage points, and Shawn Harris in 2024 with more than sixty percent support.
