Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has represented Georgia’s 14th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, posted a series of statements on her social media account addressing political division, victims of Jeffrey Epstein, and Middle East security concerns.

On April 9, 2026, Greene commented on bipartisan cooperation, stating: “Ro, I agree with you that we need a strong populist coalition of the right and left that can come together on the most important issues for the future generations of Americans. This is no easy task given years of deep political divisions between the right and the left on issues”.

Later that day, she addressed recent remarks by the First Lady regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s victims. Greene wrote: “I am grateful to the First Lady for her brave statement today about Epstein and his victims. I agree with her that the victims should be heard. I also agree with Thomas Massie. The DOJ needs to PROSECUTE!!! And the role of Congress is to legislate, not prosecute.”

On April 10, Greene raised questions about potential military action in the Middle East, posting: “Such a good question. And would Israel then use their own nuclear weapons on Iran if we refuse to act?”

Greene has been an active figure in Georgia politics since succeeding Tom Graves in Congress in 2021. She was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome at age 48. In previous elections, she defeated Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with nearly three-quarters of the vote; Marcus Flowers in 2022; and Shawn Harris in 2024 by significant margins.
