Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, shared her perspectives on various historical and political issues through a series of tweets on May 6, 2025.

In her first tweet of the day, Greene expressed critical views on past U.S. military engagements. She stated, “All the narratives are wearing off. Vietnam was a pointless war and we lost. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Afghanistan was a waste. And we gained nothing from any of those wars.” She further mentioned, “Saudi Arabia has nuclear weapons and the 19 terrorists from 9/11 were all Saudis.”

Later that day, Greene addressed legislative achievements under different administrations. In her second tweet at 12:35 PM UTC, she noted the number of bills signed by President Joe Biden compared to those sent to President Trump’s desk by Republicans. Greene wrote, “Joe Biden had 11 bills signed before the end of his first 100 days with Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats running the House. Republicans only sent 5 to President Trump’s desk.” She advocated for codifying every executive order signed by President Trump into law.

Finally, Greene announced an upcoming hearing in her third tweet at 2:23 PM UTC regarding compliance with an executive order related to gender participation in sports. She tweeted, ” @DOGECommittee HEARING Tomorrow, we will find out exactly why American Fencing is failing to comply with President Trump’s executive order to keep men OUT of women’s sports.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
