Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative who has consistently won her congressional elections since 2020, posted several statements on her social media account on August 12, 2025, addressing topics ranging from the use of the National Guard to census policies and political attacks.

In a post published at 01:15 UTC, Greene commented on the deployment of the National Guard in Washington D.C., stating: “We named it Fort Pelosi. Nancy Pelosi wasted 5 months of the National Guard’s time, wasted all the money it cost to keep them there, and used the NG for herself. President Trump is using the National Guard to protect the people, ALL the people, who visit, live, and work in https://t.co/CaUsTdcvxf”.

Later that day at 12:15 UTC, she addressed criticism directed toward herself and former President Donald Trump: “President Trump has been the most viciously attacked President of the United States and I have been the most viciously attacked Member of the United States House of Representatives. FACT. And that’s why our haters and those who are jealous constantly try to tear us apart. IT https://t.co/2M7mGoAmYn”.

At 16:44 UTC on August 12th, Greene discussed her legislative proposal regarding congressional apportionment based on citizenship status: “California & New York shouldn’t get extra seats in Congress because our census counts the illegal aliens they harbor. My Making American Elections Great Again Act orders a NEW census that counts only U.S. citizens and reapportions electoral votes accordingly. America’s”.

Greene’s posts come after several successful election campaigns; she defeated Shawn Harris in 2024 with over sixty-four percent of votes cast (64.4%), Marcus Flowers in 2022 with nearly sixty-six percent (65.9%), and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with almost seventy-five percent (74.7%).
