Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, has recently shared her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Greene, who succeeded Tom Graves, was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996.

On May 4, 2025, Greene expressed her thoughts regarding legislative actions: “I’m told we are no longer voting on this. It’s been pulled. Now let’s vote on the promises we made the American people, the agenda that gave us the historic victory in November 2024, President Trump’s EOs, and make DOGE cuts permanent with recessions!!!”

The following day, May 5, she addressed domestic concerns related to drug overdoses: “Every single night, from small towns to big cities, people fill emergency rooms with drug overdoses. I don’t care about Ukraine or Iran or Houthis or whatever foreign country I’m told I’m supposed to care about. I’m sorry I just don’t. I am continually outraged and heartbroken.”

Later that day, Greene emphasized what she described as a mandate from American voters: “The American people delivered a mandate in November. That common-sense mandate includes protecting Title IX and ensuring mentally ill men are not able to beat down women in their sports or private spaces. @DOGECommittee will be taking this issue head-on. TUNE IN!”

Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to actively participate in congressional activities while advocating for her constituents’ interests.
