Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a U.S. Representative who has consistently won her congressional elections by significant margins since 2020, made several statements on August 7, 2025, via her official X (formerly Twitter) account regarding immigration policy, law enforcement safety, and recent criticism from AIPAC.

In a post published at 12:11 p.m. UTC on August 7, Greene announced support for former President Donald Trump’s new census initiative and referenced her own legislative efforts: “President Trump is ordering a new census that will not count illegal aliens. President Trump supports my bill Making American Elections Great Again Act which not only orders a new census counting American citizens only, it also orders reapportionment by the new U.S. citizen”.

Later the same day, at 5:19 p.m. UTC, Greene addressed concerns about attacks against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents: “Our brave ICE agents are risking their lives every day to protect Americans from violent illegal aliens. A 1000% increase in assaults is outrageous! We MUST protect our law enforcement.”

At 9:10 p.m. UTC on August 7, Greene responded to criticism from AIPAC over comments she made about the conflict in Gaza and Israel: “AIPAC is sending fundraising emails attacking me for saying, ‘the most truthful and easiest thing to say that Oct 7th in Israel was horrific and all hostages must be returned, but so is the genocide, humanitarian crisis, and starvation happening in Gaza.’ Well this is the sign”.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has maintained strong electoral support in Georgia’s congressional races over multiple cycles—winning with over 64 percent of the vote against Shawn Harris in the 2024 general election; similarly defeating Marcus Flowers with nearly two-thirds of votes in 2022; and securing almost three-quarters of ballots against Kevin Van Ausdal in the 2020 race.
