Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, has been vocal on various issues through her social media presence. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently residing in Rome, Greene graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in 1996.

On May 16, 2025, Rep. Greene expressed support for efforts to eliminate waste within the federal government. She stated that “The waste, fraud, and abuse that @DOGE is working to eliminate from the federal government should be brought to the House floor.” Greene emphasized the importance of making these efforts permanent.

Later that day, she commented on a bill introduced by Lawler in 2023 concerning SALT caps. She noted that “Lawler introduced a bill in 2023 moving SALT caps to $20,000 and now he is a NO on our reconciliation bill because he says our bill raises SALT caps to $30,000 and says that is not enough!” According to Greene, this adjustment would allow 93% of Lawler’s constituents to benefit from write-offs.

On May 17, 2025, Rep. Greene addressed her attempts to introduce articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden. She stated that “I introduced more than 5 articles of impeachment on Joe Biden for many reasons.” However, none advanced through Republican-controlled committees or reached the floor for a vote.

Marjorie Taylor Greene continues her active role in Congress while maintaining engagement with her constituents through various platforms.
