Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 14th congressional district, shared updates on her recent activities and positions through a series of posts on August 14, 2025.

In a post from the afternoon, Greene addressed her party directly, stating, “Dear GOP, you should listen to this lady. And I’ll add that Sept 30th CR, what I call failure, won’t go over well.” (August 14, 2025).

Later that day, Greene highlighted a meeting with AdventHealth in Rome. She wrote, “I was able to meet with AdventHealth, a Christian-based medical group, in Rome this morning to discuss the challenges our hospitals are facing. I’m grateful for Advent’s outstanding work and expansion, like the new stroke center, bringing greater quality care to our communities.” (August 14, 2025).

In another update posted in the evening, Greene discussed infrastructure and economic activity in her district: “Great to meet with Micah Gravley from GDOT this afternoon to talk about keeping Northwest Georgia moving. GA-14 moves more freight than anywhere else in our state, and we’re proud to be the economic engine of Georgia. I’ll keep fighting for strong infrastructure investments to” (August 14, 2025).

Greene has maintained her seat in Congress since first being elected in 2020. In the most recent election held in 2024, she defeated Shawn Harris by securing approximately 64% of the vote. Her previous victories include defeating Marcus Flowers in 2022 and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020.
