Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, posted a series of tweets on January 16 and 17, 2026, addressing topics ranging from international conflict to public health policy.
On January 16, Greene questioned the consistency in public outrage over civilian deaths in different geopolitical contexts. She wrote, “We are told to be outraged about Iranian protesters being killed but are called antisemitic when we are outraged about thousands of children in Gaza being killed. Can’t we all agree that killing any innocent group of people is bad? No matter who is doing the killing.”
Later that day, she commented on an unspecified issue’s severity: “This is a drop in the bucket of how bad it is. Believe me, it’s beyond repair.” The context for this statement was not provided within the tweet itself.
On January 17, Greene raised concerns regarding financial incentives and vaccination programs. She stated, “When there is payment involved it’s an agenda. That’s why they paid for Covid vaccines. How much money do they make for all childhood vaccines?”
Greene has been elected multiple times to Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district. In the most recent election in 2024, she defeated Shawn Harris with 64.4% of the vote; previously, she won against Marcus Flowers in 2022 and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with similar margins.
