Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia, posted a series of statements on her social media account on September 6, 2025, addressing foreign influence disclosures for social media accounts, pharmacy practices regarding Covid-19 treatments, and election investigations in Georgia.

On the morning of September 6, Greene commented on potential financial connections between social media influencers and foreign countries. She stated, “I’m looking into this. Especially pertaining to accounts taking money from foreign countries. They must register under FARA. Any social media account/influencer that takes payments or in kind donations should have to label their accounts as paid promotions as well as label each” (posted at 14:03 UTC).

Later that day, she criticized Walgreens over its handling of Ivermectin prescriptions for Covid-19 patients. Greene wrote, “This is ridiculous and infuriating. Ivermectin needs to be over the counter and widely available to everyone!!! I cannot believe that Walgreens refused to fill a prescription for someone that had Covid and tried to flip them to Paxlovid. I will not use any pharmacy that” (posted at 14:41 UTC).

In another post later in the afternoon, Greene announced efforts to seek an investigation into alleged irregularities in Georgia’s elections. She declared, ” INVESTIGATING GEORGIA’S STOLEN ELECTIONS This week, I sent a letter to the FBI and DOJ urging a formal investigation into Georgia’s elections. The State Election Board has unresolved complaints about Fulton County’s handling of the 2020 election, including unreconciled” (posted at 17:26 UTC).

Marjorie Taylor Greene has been re-elected multiple times since first winning her congressional seat in 2020. In the most recent general election in 2024, she defeated Shawn Harris with 64.4% of the vote compared to Harris’s 35.6%. Previously, she secured victories against Marcus Flowers in 2022 with 65.9% of the vote and Kevin Van Ausdal in 2020 with 74.7%.

Greene’s recent posts continue her pattern of outspoken commentary on federal regulations concerning foreign influence transparency online, pharmaceutical policies related to Covid-19 treatments such as Ivermectin and Paxlovid, and ongoing disputes over election administration within her home state.
