Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, has been vocal on various issues through her social media posts. Her recent tweets have addressed topics ranging from legislative initiatives to international affairs and public health concerns.

On May 21, 2025, Greene announced her push for a bill aimed at penalizing individuals who perform gender transition procedures on minors. In her tweet, she stated: “Marjorie Taylor Greene pushes bill to punish those who perform gender transition measures on minors”.

Later that day, Greene expressed her disapproval of an incident involving South African President Cyril Ramaphosa during a meeting with former President Donald Trump. She questioned Ramaphosa’s demeanor while Trump played a video concerning racial tensions in South Africa. Greene tweeted: “Why is the President of South Africa SMIRKING AND SMILING while President Trump plays a video of racist calls to kill white farmers in South Africa??!!!”.

In another post on the same day, Greene criticized the handling of COVID-19 vaccine side effects by both government and pharmaceutical companies. She claimed that these entities were aware of the adverse effects yet proceeded with vaccination campaigns regardless. Her statement read: “They all knew the horrific side effects of the COVID vaccines and they forced it on people anyways… When will all the VAERS reports be answered?”.

Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and resides in Rome. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
