Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, shared her views and legislative priorities on social media. Greene, a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA, was born in Milledgeville, Georgia in 1974 and currently resides in Rome.

On May 5, 2025, Rep. Greene commented on former President Trump’s executive orders by stating “President Trump has issued more historic executive orders to put America First in just over three months than Joe Biden did in four years.” She emphasized the importance of codifying these orders into law to prevent future reversals by Democratic administrations.

Later that day, Greene celebrated Cinco de Mayo and announced legislative progress by tweeting “Happy Cinco de Mayo!! This week, we are passing my Gulf of America Act! “ The specifics of the Gulf of America Act were not detailed in her post.

In another tweet dated May 6, 2025, she expressed gratitude towards President Trump for his executive order banning gain-of-function research. Greene stated “Thank you Pres Trump for signing an EO to ban gain of function research which led to the creation of Covid and many other bio weapon viruses and their vaccines.” She also called for a ban on COVID-19 vaccines or their removal from the childhood vaccine schedule.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s statements reflect her ongoing support for former President Trump’s policies and her legislative initiatives aimed at maintaining those policies’ longevity through codification into law.
