Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, recently shared her views on social media regarding taxation and government policies. Born in Milledgeville, Georgia, Greene graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in 1996 and currently resides in Rome.

On June 1, 2025, Greene expressed her support for a campaign promise concerning Social Security taxes. She stated “The campaign promise of NO TAX on Social Security is one of my favorites.” Greene further criticized the current administration by saying she believes seniors have suffered significantly under inflation caused by “Biden and Democrats” over the past four years. She acknowledged public frustration about the absence of a bill eliminating these taxes.

Later that day, Greene posted another message conveying dissatisfaction without specific details. Her tweet simply read “Not MAHA at all!!! Unreal.”

In a subsequent post on June 1, 2025, Greene accused Democrats of using taxpayer money to fund radical NGOs that advance their political agenda. She announced an upcoming event organized by the DOGE Committee to investigate these claims: “This Wednesday, @DOGECommittee will expose how YOUR tax dollars have funded destructive policies and lined the pockets of Democrat allies.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene replaced former U.S Congress member Tom Graves in 2021.
