Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district, shared a series of tweets addressing various political issues on June 7 and 8, 2025.
On June 7, Rep. Greene criticized USAID’s operations abroad by asserting that the agency has shifted from its primary mission of providing humanitarian aid to spreading partisan messages. She stated: “Instead of carrying out its original mission of providing humanitarian aid overseas, USAID pushed Democrat propaganda around the world.” She further commented on the role of the United States as a global entity: “The United States is not a charity to be used and abused by the bureaucracy to implement the far-left’s agenda and impose it on the entire”.
Later that day, she called for military intervention in response to civil unrest. In her tweet, Greene urged for deployment of military forces against protestors whom she described as defending undocumented immigrants: “Bring in the National Guard!! Round up the lawless rioters defending illegal alien criminals!!”
In another post dated June 8, Rep. Greene accused left-wing factions of instigating violence in California while criticizing local leadership for their lack of action. She questioned funding sources for these activities and warned about potential nationwide consequences: “Leftist are fueling a war against America in California and Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass are doing nothing to stop it.” She expressed concern over this situation escalating beyond Los Angeles.
