Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 14th district, has expressed her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Greene, who succeeded Tom Graves in 2021 and holds a BBA from the University of Georgia, addressed topics ranging from media coverage to gender identity.

On May 23, 2025, Greene criticized media outlets for defending Apple’s decision not to manufacture iPhones in America. She stated that it was “astounding” to see “the leftists in the media defend Apple refusing to make iPhones in America.” She further accused the media of being “America LAST” and opposed their stance against US job creation while supporting high corporate profits through cheap foreign labor.

Later that day, she thanked Independent Women’s Voice (IWV) for their support of her Protect Children’s Innocence Act. In her tweet at 17:31 UTC, she affirmed her belief that “There are only TWO genders: Male & Female.” Greene called for an end to what she described as “barbaric and irreversible genital mutilation surgeries on kids in all 50 states.”

In another post on the same day at 20:41 UTC, Greene reiterated her stance against permanent physical changes for children. She emphasized that “84% of Americans agree that genital mutilation should not be an option for a confused 8 year old,” arguing that this is not a partisan issue but rather one of child protection.

Marjorie Taylor Greene was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, in 1974 and currently resides in Rome. Her political career began with her election to Congress where she has been vocal about various social issues.
