On Friday, April 10, at 6 p.m., Hunter Atkins, a former Rockmart High School standout, helped Georgia State claim a 10-5 NCAA Division I baseball victory over the James Madison Dukes.

Friday’s contest was held at the GSU Baseball Complex. It was the Panthers’ first meeting with the Dukes during the season.

Atkins pitched 2.1 innings, yielding two earned runs, allowing one walk, and striking out three batters.

The Panthers are set to face the Dukes again on Saturday, April 11, at the same venue.
