On Thursday, May 15, former Cedartown High School standout Marycille Brumby’s current collegiate team the North Georgia Nighthawks won 5-4 against the Francis Marion Patriots in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Francis Marion Patriots in the tournament.

The North Georgia Nighthawks’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 1 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium.
