On Friday, March 6, the CMS Athenas, featuring former Darlington School standout Georgeanna Dempsey, were defeated 70-54 by the Whitman Blues in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The contest, which tipped off at 5:30 p.m., was held at Mabee Complex and marked the team’s initial meeting with Whitman in the tournament.
