On Saturday, April 5, former Calhoun High School standout Luke Sims’ current college team, the Shorter Hawks, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Chowan Hawks.

The game took place at Hawkins Field. This was their third matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 5 p.m. at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium against Montevallo Falcons.
