On Friday, March 13, Sa’Niah Dorsey, a former Calhoun High School athlete, and her current team, the Augusta Jaguars, were defeated 83-74 by the Lenoir–Rhyne Bears in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at B. Frank Tex Turner Arena at 2:30 p.m., was the first tournament meeting between Augusta and Lenoir–Rhyne Bears.
